This program is designed for practising French language teachers who want to deepen their phonetics methodology, earn an internationally recognised certification and immediately improve their classroom results. A working B2+ level of French is recommended as sessions are conducted primarily in French, consistent with international teacher training standards.
The Verbo-Tonal Method is an internationally recognised approach to teaching phonetics developed by Professor Petar Guberina and adopted by Alliance Française centres worldwide. It treats pronunciation as a perceptual and physical experience — using rhythm, intonation, tension and clarity as the four integrated pillars of phonetics instruction, producing measurably faster improvement than traditional approaches.
Sessions are conducted primarily in French — consistent with the international standard for professional French teacher training. Working in the target language is part of the pedagogical approach itself. A working B2+ level of French is recommended to fully benefit. This is a teacher development program, not a French learning course.
Participants who complete all sessions receive a program attestation documenting their completion of the Verbo-Tonal Method phonetics training, issued in the context of this collaboration with Alliance Française Padoue. This is a meaningful professional development credential — not a generic participation slip — that carries weight on your CV and with French institutions.
Every session is recorded and shared with you personally within 24 hours for your own revision. Recordings are for your personal professional development only and may not be redistributed.
